Associates

Extraordinary Associates describes a relationship of synergism that we share with the following organizations:

Amigos de San Cristobal, A.C. is a not-for-profit non-governmental organization (NGO) that generates funds to financially support the work of effective organizations with histories of fiscal transparency in Chiapas. Amigos and Veredas often have relationships with the same organizations, for different reasons. Both organizations cultivate relationships that will lead to placement of volunteers and institutional partnerships.

Instituto de Lenguas Jovel , a Spanish language school that offers language classes, home-stays, cultural workshops, excursions and volunteer opportunities. Language classes, whether individual or group, start every Monday year round at all levels. Spanish courses for professionals focus language learning on your specific interests. Home-stays with Mexican families, hotels, posadas or furnished apartments.

The International Humanitarian Foundation (IHF)  operates on the principle of long term partnership. By forging and fostering partnerships between creative, caring and innovative people – local leaders in communities abroad and college students in the US – the IHF effects lasting, positive social change in communities where they are present around the globe.

Association of Academic Programs in Latin America & the Caribbean (AAPLAC) promotes study abroad in Latin America and the Caribbean by providing a forum for discussion and information sharing among study abroad advisors, program directors and faculty committed to helping students make the most of their study abroad experiences.

Church by the Sea(CBTS) is a non-denominational, Christian Church dedicated to the proclamation of the Word of God and the on-going witness to Christ through prayer and participation in humanitarian mission activities.  The foundation and sustenance of The Pathways Project, the US counterpart to Veredas Chiapas is in very large measure due to the continuing moral, technical and financial support of CBTS.

The Pathways Project is a non profit, 501-c3 based in the United States which was established to support the work of Veredas Chiapas.
